List of Notable Link Analysis Tools
SEMRush (Formerly SEODigger.com)
Need to know where a particular website is ranking? No problem.
Need to know who is advertising on those keywords? No problem.
Need to know the estimated traffic volume organic? ppc? Done.
This is an excellent tool, and while I prefered fast interface with seodigger but for any search engine optimization professional this tool is one that shouldn't be missed.
KeywordSpy
Keyword spy is similar in nature to SEMRush but uses more graphs and visual statistics. Great if you prefer using these tools to make presentations, but for raw data I prefer SEMRush. Also as of the last time I checked Keyword Spy was not strong in organic results and was geared more towards the PPC advertising market.
Backlink Watch
This tool has been gaining a lot of popularity over the last year or so. The tool itself is great, presenting information on every backlink to your website. Backlink watch shows you who is linking to your website, if it's a regular link or no-follow as well as lots of other information. Due to its recent popular there are delays at various times of day. (Usually when tech guys are awake) Great tool in your arsenal.
Visual Link Neighborhood
A great tool for visualization of sites that are considered "inkind" with yours. Still in beta but some good potential here. Worth checking out.
WordTracker Free Keyword Tool
A Great replacement for the inventory.overture tool that disappeared on us sometime ago. I also recommend checking out the fully paid version of word tracker as well.
Google Free Keyword Tool
Much improved over past results, the Google Keyword tool now provides more concrete estimates on actual traffic volume (making it useful.) In the past your only indication to traffic was a green graphical bar.
Now a very useful tool, worth bookmarking.
